Originally founded in 1983 under the name of Management Security Consultants Limited as an industrial security consultancy specialist, Management Security Consultants evolved in 1986 to insurance claims investigators and thereafter insurance motor loss adjusters. Within two years, the name Management Security Consultants Limited adopted the acronym MSC Limited. The security arm was sold and is now Ranger Security Limited and MSC’s focus moved to loss adjusting.

In 2000, the merger of McKay & Associates produced MSC McKay Limited which later became MSC McKay (Jamaica) Limited as plans developed for expansion to the Caribbean.

Where can you find us?

Over the past 7 years, MSC McKay offers all classes of motor and equipment services to the Jamaican financial markets through its network of offices, in Kingston, Portmore, May Pen, Mandeville, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, with plans for expansion to Savanna La Mar and Lucea on the drawing board for this year.

What's in store for us?

Plans for 2009 include the employment of a full time Chartered Loss Adjuster to handle all categories of property loss adjusting. In the meantime, MSC McKay (Jamaica) Limited has entered into an agreement with Amedeo Loss Adjusting, based in the United Kingdom to provide catastrophe loss adjusting services.

With current annual growth rate of 12% and a target of 50% reduction of administration expenses in 2009 through the introduction of specific software; MSC McKay is poised for continued success. 2009 has also been targeted as year of Caribbean expansion as the Jamaica industry continues to expand to our regional neighbours.
